I never leave home without a patch kit (actually 3 variations) and compressor. I've had to repair a couple of my tires and several riding friend's.

I don't carry anything for flats or dead batteries. I might start doing so but would go the separate route plus a patch kit. Keep one unit in each saddlebag rather than taking up too much space in one bag.
You better hope your bike and the bike gods didn't hear you say that. You'll have two flat tires and a dead battery next time you head out anywhere remote. 😉

Plug kit and bike battery powered compresser remain on the bike at all the times and have saved me once in a very remote cornerof the NC mountains. Battery jumper comes along for multi-day trips in the bike or car.

I was at work so that negative mojo will remain there. Bike will probably see a new battery sometime this year as it's a 2018 on the original battery. I bought the bike last fall with very few miles on it and am keeping it on a tender but they usually don't fail in the garage but rather away from home. Tires are obviously in a whole separate category. Just been lucky all these years on both accounts.

Mine bike lives on a tender when at home too, so it's going to be out on the road when my battery fails.

I purchased a competing product, the Fanttik X8 APEX™. It has a slightly larger battery but works and looks the same. It definitely saved my butt when I ran over a nail in Deluth last year. I usually plug it in and recharge it every quarter to keep the battery fresh.

I really like the new form factor. It is less noisy and can be used as a battery bank too.

Enjoy.
+1 on the Fanttik. I got one from Costco around BF for $57. I can use it to charge the Sena at stops also.

I have the Lexin and love it and highly endorse it. While riding back roads 90 miles from home my front tire low pressure light came on. (29PSI). Couldn't find the leak on the side of the road so I filled it back up to 42 PSI (took approx 4 minutes) and rode until the light came back on and refilled to 42 PSI. It took 7 refills to get me home on 1 battery charge. The Lexin will charge off the USB plug on the bike, but if you want to charge it while riding you will have to get a USB/BMW plug adapter so the cord will reach to a tankbag. You cannot use the pump while it is recharging and it does take a while to recharge if nearly depleated.
I'm a witness! :ROFLMAO:

I bought an air pump that I think I will really like. It is the Lexin P5 Tire Inflator. It is powered by a rechargeable 5000mAh battery. According to the specs, it has enough juice to fully inflate 6.5 17" tires. My motorcycle and car tires did not need inflating, but our bicycle tires sure did! It was able to fill the tires on my road bike from 0-120 psi in 90 seconds and worked just as well on my wife's bike. It did not even get a bit warm while inflating. It charges via USB-C and fits into my Stop and Go case where the old bike powered compressor fit. I will probably use this for air ups in the garage because one of our dogs are terrified when I turn on the compressor!

I have two of these. Wonderful. The pump and a plug kit got wife and I home after picking up a nail in the rear tire of my GS/A. One of the best pieces of kit I regularly carry. Just set it to the desired pressure, screw it to the stem, turn it on, and it works. Shuts off when it reaches the desired pressure. Also works on the K1600 with the weird short stems that don’t work well at many service station air pumps.

I was looking into these pumps on Amazon for a few days and decided to go with Sunpow. Seems like the UI and form factor is pretty close to same on each of the Chinesium products, so since I'm sometimes a cheap bassturd, I went with somewhat mid-priced product. 🤷‍♂️ Has 7500mAh battery and supposed to do 160psi, but go figure.

Haven't tried filling any tires yet, but at least it makes a lot of noice when its on. Kind of bummer that it comes only with the screw-on type nozzle.

Now... I did order an "air inflator", but they sent me an "air inflatot", but I guess I'll survive. :ROFLMAO:

That looks to be the very similar to the one I bought called NBZZ

I have the Fanttik X8 Apex for the car….looks to be the same size, innards and case, just a different label. I also have the smaller X9 for the bike.

The Chinese manufactures have figured out they can sell way more units of a widget by creating 1000 separate listings for the exact same widget, each with slightly different product name, rather than having one listing for which they have 1000 items to sell. Looking for certain products on Amazon, eBay, etc, these days can have one scrolling past pages and pages of their listings, making it very hard to find anything else.
