Does anyone have experience with this error message? I'm taking it into the shop and wondering if the collective has experience with it. A Google search doesn't bring up much for the K16, but it seems other models like the S1K and GS experience this. It seems to be either a loose connection or something really wrong with the shock like loss of fluid.

I saw some other posts with shock failure in the first year, I guess I'm one of them! Hopefully just a computer reset or something.

I just got the latest TFT firmware update two weeks ago. Yeah, hopefully it is a quick computer solution. I noticed what looks like oil residue in the area, maybe that's the shock oil? We'll see what they say.

I finally got my bike back from the shop. I am updating this post in case anyone in the future receives the same error message so they can have some information on the cure.

The end result was ordering a new shock unit from Germany. The service writer speculated that it may have had something to do with the stepper motor electronics within the shock unit that automatically adjust preload or damping. Not 100% sure on that, but no software diagnostic would cure the error message.

It was in the shop for over a month, and I'm glad to have my ride back. The loaner bikes were okay, I got to appreciate the Gen 1 K16 and had some fun on a GS and R9T. Nothing beats having your own bike back in the garage.
