Just for the UK folk and if thought I'd put this out there.
Having made and fitted the GTR1400 crash/drop bars for people several years ago, I had a day of fitting here in Lincolnshire, where purchasers of said kits arrived for a chin wag, breaky and general meet up.
I was thinking the same if anyone is interested in purchasing the Utopia back rest system as I'm going to order one to keep my posture correct and help my back.
I anyone wants one look on their website for costs etc and maybe they could be ordered and shipped together, making it slightly cheaper for all.
PM me your thoughts, as either way I'm getting one.

Change of plan, after lots of thought ideas I've come up with a different system that could be free to me. Car head rest system, integrated into the seat, once done I'll post a piccy up as to whether it's garbage or not 😆

Well managed to sort the homemade back rest today, utilizing mini ( car ) headrests. Just might need recovering, but I have 2 to swap out depending on the riding. I'm well pleased with it and now just need to treat the brackets under the seat and sort a small flap for the guide holes to keep water out if left out in the rain. No biggy though, as the guide tubes are hollow and no water will settle anywhere important.
I can have them at different heights depending on comfort required, the one in the picture is for my lower back to stop me
' slouching '
Not bad considering it's free !!!

The plastic guides you see on the seat are 4" long and clip into guide tubes under the seat, which is bolted to the seat itself. As I don't have a welder any more I utilised the mechanism and fixings out of the car seat. So basically it's a car headrest system on a bike ! 😊
I'll take some pictures of the bracket once I've made it a little prettier under there, but just used what i had lying around

This looks pretty awesome. I have been thinking about doing the same thing and just picked up a headrest and the tabs that the headrest slides into today. What vehicle did you pull that out of?
A mini, I have the centre rear headrest mainly as it's shaped nicely, and a front for longer journeys as it's higher.
Exceptionally please with it to be honest.
Just remember when fitting the tubes to the seat, it will need spacing at an angle so it comes through the seat straight.

Looks pretty impressive! Are you able to share pics of the fittings from below the seat?
Oh yeah, I forgot. I'll take some this week, but bear in mind this was a proto to start with, not pretty, and was bent and cut with hand tools.
Now I've got measurement's, a fabricator could knock up a far better bracket. The angle under the seat was most important.

2 bolts through the seat to hold angle bracket in place ( red ), and 2 bolts attaching the guide tubes and plate to the angle bracket ( blue )
The guide tubes attached to the plate are from the mini seat.
I put thread covers on the bolts through the seat, that's why they just look black.
