Sounds counterintuitive I know, but I have to say, I really prefer touchscreen with a coyote-type mount instead of WW control.
It's actually much more convenient than all the clicks and scrolls between the TFT and the CarPlay unit imho -- I use CarPlay much more via voice control to play music, set a map destination, find a gas station, and/or answer phone calls and the only time I even touch the screen really is to switch from music to map display.
I have a Chigee (vs. your Carpuride) which has a WW CAN CGRC module but I'll have it up for sale as I find it totally unnecessary.

Can you provide more info. Info about mount, wire and is it the W702BS, or?
There is a power connection on the back side of the mount for the Carpuride (or any other device). You just connect to that. The W702 should be used, no the W702BS. The W702BS is not compatible with my mount or the K1600.

Has qnyone installed the latest 2025 Carpuride W502BS made specifically for BMW bikes? IT already has the 18 pin back and slides right into the original Nav slot. Installed it on my 2015 K1600 GTL and it starts up when ignition is turned on and turns off as well with ignition. However, Only AppleCar Play works and all the bike telemetry doesnt get pullled in. Plus its such a tight fit, the Windscreen will not go down with the button unless I put a lot of pressure on the top cover. Now I can Open it either to see if I can make a little more clearance to allow it to close completely. Lol Any have same issue and find a work around? Thanks! Mauricio

Actually the BS model supports any BMW bike with the OEM nav mount like the GS, RS, XR, etc.
No it does not. The K bike has a different bus protocol. That's why his bike data doesn't show.

I didn’t say it supported the K bike, but the other models I listed. It doesn’t just support the GS, but other models as well.

You said "the BS model supports any BMW bike with the OEM nav mount ". It does not. I'm aware that it works with a few other models besides the GS but that is not what this thread is about.

Okay, I should’ve specifically added the K and RT bikes that it’s not compatible with. But you also stated the BS model was made for the GS, and that’s not the case either. We both could’ve been more succinct in our wording.

So I managed to get the latest 2025 Carpuride W502BS with the BMW connection to fit on my 2015 K1600 GTL. At first, I didnt think it fit because while the Carupride did fit and work in the BMW cradle, the the pop up cradle would not close properly and allow the automatic windscreen to move up and down.

However, if you remove the front panel which is only a few screws, you can install the new carupride from the front and it fits in nice while the pop up cradle is in the fully locked position. Next just reinstall front panel and the carupride is perfectly centered with the original opening and the windscreen goes up and down with no issues.

Good luck all with the install and adding Apple Carplay to your K bikes!

Hey, you wouldn't happen to have any photos of what you did to get the BS to mount to your bike?
