I just received my carpuride and mount from @coyotek, the mount is professionally made without flaw and easily mounted in the Nav cradle exactly how your Nav does. I plugged it in and it worked, simple.
Great setup, can't wait for riding weather!

If only I had seen this before I bought the XT.

In my car I use a wireless Carplay adapter and Waze - at 5 yrs the complementary Sirius Traffic expired for my in dash NAV.

The traffic on the XT has only worked for me 50% of the time vs Waze in my car has been 95%+

Yes, I turn the traffic off on the XT. Not sure why they can't do better. The next display mount is in-progress.... go big or go home.

For those who already have been using carpuride, is there a way to import apps to the unit or are you stuck with what's already there?

Is that a sunshield you have attched to the bike? Whats the clear piece for? Just curious......

No sunshield, it's just mounted in the dash exactly like the Nav was. The clear plastic piece is a ID holder because I work on a military base and have to produce my ID when coming in the gate. It's an easy storage location versus having to dig in a pocket. Just grab even with gloves on and return without holding up traffic.

Most apps are not carplay enabled.

Waze is and comes across. MyQ is not and does not come across as examples.

Which app do you think should come across?

I was hoping JBV1 could come up so I could see the app on my screen. It's not a biggie because it'll still run on my phone but I'd like to be able to see or hear it

Just got mine. Great timing, since I just dropped off my Nav 6 at UPS Store to exchange it for the new and improved version and don't have to be without a screen in case I go riding. Not that I'll probably go in the next few days since it'll be nasty cold here in Texas, but anyway.

Thanks, @coyotek for a true plug-and-play solution which was up and running in mere seconds. Haven't looked too much into the unit yet, but will browse around some more later. Seems to have all the same apps I have when I use my phone in my truck.

Paul, I think it takes a wifi connection from the phone to the device. Both devices need to support it. One of these guys will figure it out I'd bet.

Different mount. It's outside the dash.
